Workplace report – February 2020

Auch der Februar ging in Sachen Hobby produktiv weiter. Zwar weniger Miniaturen als im Januar, doch dafür auch etwas Gelände. Es geht stetig weiter mit meinem „Systemabschluss“ SAGA. 🙂

February also continued productively in terms of hobby. Fewer miniatures than in January, but also some terrain. The „system completion“ of SAGA is going to continue. 🙂

Auf die Durststrecke im Oktober folgte nun eine weitere im November. Wieder kam ich zu gar nichts. Die Arbeit fraß mich auf. Der einzige der hobbymäßig produktiv war, war mein 3D-Drucker. Naja, zumindest kümmerte ich mich alibihaft um ein weiteres Geländestück für SAGA.

The dry spell in October was followed by another in November. Again I could not do anything. The work ate me up. The only one who was productive for the hobby was my 3D printer. Well, at least I took care of another piece of terrain for SAGA.

Im Oktober geschahen mehrere Dinge: alle verfügbaren, grundierten Figuren waren bemalt, meine Arbeit „explodierte“ und ich schaute mich um, was ich denn als nächstes bemalen (und damit) grundieren konnte. Meine Wahl fiel auf SAGA, Muskets and Tomahawks sowie Lion Rampant (nicht auf dem Bild, weil mittlerweile in einem anderen Farbstatus 😉 ).

Several things happened in October: all available, primed miniatures were painted, my work at the office „exploded“ and I looked around to see what I could paint (and therefore) prime within the next few days. My choice fell on SAGA, Muskets and Tomahawks and Lion Rampant (not on the picture, because the miniatures are now in a different color status 😉 ).

Zurück aus dem Urlaub im fernen Osten konnte ich im September noch einmal den Schwung der Erholung nutzen und tatsächlich etliches auf meinem Arbeitsplatz Stehende, bemalen sowie fertigstellen! Die Ergebnisse seht Ihr oben.

Back from my vacation in the Far East, I was able to use the momentum of relaxation in September and actually painted and finished a lot of things on my work place! You can see the results above.

Workplace report – June 2019

Im Werkstattbericht des Monats Mai hatte ich es ja schon angekündigt: der Juni sollte für mich in Sachen Hobby nicht ganz so einfach werden. Der Langzeit-Verwandtenbesuch fand statt sowie der Familienurlaub und Hobby-Aktivitäten traten damit in den Hintergrund. Aber ich glaube ich muss meinen Output nicht verstecken. Es ging doch etwas. Darüber hinaus ergab der Besuch und der Urlaub die Möglichkeit Material für Museumsblogbeiträge zu sammeln.

In the workplace report of May, I had already announced: June should not be that easy for me in terms of hobby. The long-term relatives‘ visit took place, as well as family vacations and with that hobby activities took a back seat. But I do not think I have to hide my output. There was something going on. In addition, the visit and the holidays gave the opportunity to collect material for museum blog contributions.

Workplace report – May 2019

Im Mai startete meine Spielergruppe eine Art Sommerprojekt: 250 Punkte an Figuren/etc. sollte innerhalb einer bestimmten, vorgegebenen Frist bemalt werden. Da ich nur noch in Spartensystemen unterwegs bin (von Kings of War einmal abgesehen, doch das ruht aktuell), schwenkte ich um auf 6 Figuren pro Monat (so wie es bspw. im deutschen Tabletopwelt-Forum Usus ist).

In May my group started some kind of summer project: 250 points of miniatures/etc. should be painted within a specified deadline. Since I am only playing smaler systems (apart from Kings of War, but that is currently resting), I chose to paint 6 miniatures per month (as it is common, for example, in the German Tabletopwelt Forum).

Workplace report – April 2019

Wie Ihr auf dem Bild sehen könnt, scheint der April der bislang ergiebigste Hobby-Monat in meiner Blog-Karriere zu sein. 🙂 Ich habe mein Ziel über vollständiges SAGA-Gelände zu verfügen weiter getrieben (nur noch sechs weitere Geländestücke) und darüber hinaus auch noch Figuren bemalt.

As you can see in the picture, April seems to be the most rewarding hobby month in my blog career. 🙂 I have continued my goal to get a complete set of SAGA terrain (only six more pieces of terrain left for the coming months) and also painted more miniatures.
